Abbott concedes, CBS Austin says Hinojosa wins
Gov. Greg Abbott conceded the Texas governor’s race to Democrat Gina Hinojosa on Tuesday night, according to CBS Austin, in a post shared within a report by The Gateway Pundit.
“Leading this state has been the greatest honor I’ve ever had. Thank you for your support. Thank you for your love. Thank you for making Texas, Texas. And God bless you all, and God bless the great state of Texas,” Abbott said in his concession speech, as quoted by The Gateway Pundit.

CBS Austin said Hinojosa “will become the state’s first Democratic governor since 1995.”
How the result was framed
The Gateway Pundit characterized the outcome as “Texas turned blue.”
Down-ballot note reported by TGP
The Gateway Pundit also reported that James Talarico defeated Trump-endorsed Ken Paxton in a Texas Senate race and described Talarico as “far-left.”
